Lelenita's Cakes was founded in November, 1983 with the philosophy that quality of ingredients and attention to detail are essential to exceeding the expectations of our customers. We continue to specialize in the detailed construction of the most delicious, finely decorated cakes in San Francisco- each one is a beautiful work of art. 

We have had the privilege to design, bake and decorate a cake with the coat of arms for the King of Spain, Juan Carlos I, in 1987.  The nearly 6 foot cake was declared "Marvelous!!!" by royal decree.

We were awarded the opportunity to decorate three identical cakes for the Walt Disney film "George of the Jungle". Each cake was 5 feet in height and the bottom cake was 65 inches in width, with a total of four tiers each cake. 

Over the years, we have received numerous accolades, awards, and honors. We are especially proud of winning first place for most monumental cake at the 75th Anniversary for the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. Event was hosted by Mayor Willie Brown and by the Art Point of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.

We also have made many outstanding castle cakes and monumental buildings like the Palace of Fine Art, St Mary's Cathedral and many other well recognized landmarks.  Our landmark cakes serve as a center of attention and are great conversation pieces that people will remember not only for the beauty and sophistication of the sculpted design, but for its delicate consistency and superb flavor.

We pride ourselves in producing delicious and detailed decorated cakes for weddings and all occasions. We provide professional and courteous customer service and a have a wide variety of different cake styles to select from including photo imaging, tiered, sheets, rounds, and custom sculpted.

We offer many additional services to help save you time and money including a large selection of Mylar and latex balloons, table, Chair, Archway, and linen rentals.  We also have a Venue that has a 60 person capacity!

Located in the Beautiful city of San Francisco, we are open 7 days a week from 10:30 A.M to 6:30 P.M.
